UPDATE: Vendors must call Montague Parks & Rec to determine whether a slot is still available for your menu items before applying.
Vendors will be able to set up in Unity Park near the basketball court.
Vendor spots cost $75 for a 10' x 15' spot, and $150 for a 10' x 30' spot.
Food vendors will need a permit from the board of health to serve food unless they already have an annual mobile food license.
Regarding "Temporary Food Permits." All information is on the Town website under the Board of Health. All applications, quizes and payments need to be in or post marked by September 6, 2013. Food vendors must plan ahead, read all the materials and provide the BoH a Servsafe certificate where needed.

While the race will run from 11:30-3:30 sales can be made earlier and later.
There is no electricity at the park, so vendors requiring electricity will need to bring a QUIET gas generator. You can rent one from Taylor Rentals, 369 High St in Greenfield, MA. (413) 773-8643. $35 - $68 depending on the size. Tell them you're renting for the Montague Soapbox Races.
Tables and tents will not be provided, just the space, which will be marked off.
Vendors can also buy Hay Bale Sponsorship signs. One sign costs $50, three are $120, and all will be shown on TV as the carts go by. Signs are vinyl and reusable, are 19 x 24 inches, and will be tied to hay bales.
In the image below you can see the race track in red, the vendor areas, first aid and announcer / P.A. areas represented as blue boxes. Spectator areas are in green.
