Soapbox Races season is upon us, both in Turners Falls and in Greenfield, and there are many events planned.
Here's the schedule of what's coming up:
- Sat, Sept 4, 10:00 AM - noon: Soapbox Build Party at Nova Motorcycles, 2nd Street in Turners Falls
- Sun, Sept 5, 10:00 AM - noon: Soapbox Build Party at Half Pint Homes, parking lot behind city hall, Greenfield
- Thur, Sept 9, 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM: Franklin County Fair Parade, starts at Greenfield Middle School parking lots, Federal and Sanderson Street, Greenfield
- Sun, Sept 12, noon - 3:00 PM: Greenfield Soapbox Races, Nash's Mill Road, Greenfield
- Sat, Sept 18, 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM: racer hangout for drinks and apps at the block party in front of Nova Motorcycles on 2nd Street in Turners Falls
- Sun, Sept 19, noon - 3:00 PM: Montague Soabox Races, Unity Park, Turners Falls
