Come walk with the Montague Soapbox Derby in the parade next Thursday, September 5th!

Meet us in the parking lot behind Blessed Sacrament Church at the corner of Federal Street (5 & 10) and Beacon Street, in Greenfield [click for map]. Enter the lot at Beacon Street, we are in the far right corner, parade entry #15. Get there by 4:30, or a little earlier. Parade starts at 5:00.

We have free wrist bands available to the first nine people who show up with their soapbox cart. A maximum of two bands per cart will be handed out. Please bring a strong rope with you to connect to the cart ahead of you.

The Fourth Annual Montague Soapbox Derby will be held on Sunday, September 22nd, 2013, at Unity Park in Turners Falls, MA. Up to 100 derby carts will compete for real metal trophy cups and local artist-rendered style-trophies.

The Official Derby Announcers will include Montague ex-selectboard member Pat Allen, current selectboard member Michael Nelson, Montague town clerk Deb Borbeau and our master of ceremonies will again be the Duke of Sports' Russ Brown.

Entry forms are available online at MontagueSoapboxDerby.com and at the TV station (34 2nd Street, Turners Falls) and the Montague Town Hall (1 Avenue A, Turners Falls).

The Montague Soapbox Derby is a fundraiser for Montague Community TV.
